Delete your FootyCircle account

You can start deletion inside FootyCircle. A public email route is also available if you cannot access your account.

Request deletion

While signed in, open Profile or Settings, choose Delete account, review any blockers, and confirm the request. If you cannot sign in, email raghavsubedii@gmail.com from your account email with the subject ‘FootyCircle account deletion’. We will verify control of the account before acting.

What is erased

Authentication access and direct account identifiers.
Profile details, avatar and other personal media.
Optional health, GPS, activity samples, and generated heatmap artifacts.
Posts, comments, messages, reactions, saves, and other user-generated content, where deletion does not undermine a necessary safety or legal record.

What may delay deletion

Future hosted games, unresolved payments or refunds, a non-zero wallet, club ownership, an active dispute, or a serious safety report may need to be resolved first. FootyCircle will restrict the account and explain the necessary next step rather than silently claiming deletion succeeded.

Limited retention

Anonymised financial and tax records for up to six years where legally required.
Restricted safety or moderation evidence for up to 180 days where necessary.
Protected non-live backups for up to 30 days before rotation.

Timing and cancellation

A request has a seven-day cancellation period. After that period, FootyCircle's daily deletion processor checks the account again and either completes erasure or records a blocker that must be resolved. Temporary provider errors are retried safely and are never presented as a completed deletion. A pending request may be cancelled before processing from the same in-app account controls. Once erasure completes, the account and personal history cannot be restored.

Apple sign-in

Deleting FootyCircle data does not automatically remove FootyCircle from the apps listed under Sign in with Apple because the current sign-in flow does not retain an Apple revocation token. Apple users should also open their Apple Account settings, choose Sign in with Apple, select FootyCircle, and stop using Apple ID after requesting deletion.

Before you delete

Download anything you need, leave or transfer clubs you own, cancel future attendance or hosted games, and resolve wallet or payment issues. You can review the Privacy Policy for more detail.
